In 1977, Pat was hired by Charles R. Porter, Jr., a University of Texas undergrad and law school alumni.  After working as an associate, Pat earned his stripes and became a senior shareholder in the Texas law firm of Porter, Rogers, Dahlman & Gordon P.C. (with offices in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Austin) until 2019. 

Accepting a new adventure, Pat has opened his own private law and mediation practice in Austin, Texas serving Austin and the Central Texas area. 

Pat is an avid golfer and married to Cheryl Rogers, with one son, Drew Rogers, who is married to Marquel Rogers. 

Along with his background in litigation and mediation in the areas of civil law, including tort litigation, contracts, insurance law, real estate law, wills and probate, consumer and commercial law, construction law, family law, and personal injury, Pat is experienced in business and transactional matters. In order to have an open mind on disputes and handling these various issues, Pat has served as lead counsel on many plaintiff cases, defense cases, business transactions and has successfully served as a mediator in the multiple areas of his experience. 

Pat approaches his law and mediation practice with a well-round practical perspective.  Pat believes his clients, colleagues, and the justice system deserve the utmost integrity.  His motto is to provide “a professional approach”.
